Yes, I know I’ve done one of these before, but I felt this was appropriate, especially after watching Paper Heart last night. Something about watching socially awkward young people just makes me all warm and fuzzy on the inside.
Anyway, this week’s batch of tracks include Babyface on the lead off (thanks to everyone correcting me that it was “The Deele” and NOT Babyface, even though ‘Face was part of the band), Donell Jones redoing one of my favorite Stevie Wonder joints.
But, I saved the best for last, as the Avant song and the second Donell Jones track are certified “The Business.” If you’re not in the mood after the last two songs…
