Button Mashers Appreciation Post

Big UPS and THANK YOU to everyone that killed it at The Button Mashers show last night.  I would personally love to give each and every one of you a high five, but since that’s not logically possible through a computer screen, I wanna give a big UPS to:

- GOD for letting us throw an awesome event.

- Liberty Peralta for killing it on the flyer. Awesome job @libz :)

- Nick Jiminez, Shaun Castro, John Hirano for helping with the music, art & sound of the event.

- Daniel Ohta for helping clear out the venue the night before.

- GoodGuyJames for hosting the event and handling emcee duties.

- All the artists for displaying your awesome work.

- Lester & Mike for the Street Fighter Tournament setup. Awesome job running that, boys.

- Travis Yanagida & Robby Ching for doing the photog duties because I was kinda busy :)

- @mugat2 for winning the tournament.

- J-Live for winning the B-Boy battle.

- Freddy & Micah for having the match of the tournament. Who knew Zangief vs. E. Honda would be the most entertaining battle?

- Shaun Castro, Philippe Anthony, Janel & RZONE for killing the live painting.

- Big UPS to DA PARTY BOX guys for that AMAZING set up with the four LCD screens.

- Joe Pecson for being a beast on the keys.

- DJ’s enJAY, Kutz, Liger aka HAI BAI aka Jordy LaForge & Memoirs for blessing the wheels of steel.

- Francis, Welly & Summer for killing the live peformance.

- Eyes on Mike & Stutterin Stan for the last minute performance. CLUTCH.

- Aunty Joella, Chas & Sarah Mae for holding down the admission & ticket booth.

- Clint Jr, Henric, Rasa & DDubz for the las tmiute security detail. Awesome job, guys.

- DDubz, Dan & Taylor for judging the BBoy battle.

- Diverse Arts, lightsleepers, Prolifik & Redefine for killing the vendor booth area.

- Prototype, Prolifik & lightsleepers for sponsoring the prizes.

- Rick and OlaNui! for letting us host the event there & for being so cool about use pretty much turning out their church.

- The Burdios kids, Tarn, & John for letting us use their video game systems for the event.

- The event sponsors: Grace Bible Church Pearlside, OlaNui!, lightsleepers, Diverse Arts, Prototype, Prolifik, Redefine, and First Lady The Movement.

I’m pretty sure I’m missing people, but the appreciation is heartfelt nonetheless.

We doin’ it big this year, bigger than we ever done it.

Thanks to you guys for helping us throw an event for the kids to help them meet God in a more personable way. I think we set a great example.

I already got the next one in the works. Might go back to some old stomping grounds for the next one. Chea!

Love you all & hope the light of God shines down extra bright for you guys today.

Awesome Job :)
