Project 365: Similar Styles
I tend to find the oddest things while out. Today was no exception. So, after @MissYumi discovered the whereabouts of the elusive American Apparel Store, we decided to go in.
Apparently, the hipster kids are trying to dress like a cross between Mr. Rogers, Napoleon Dynamite, and Saved By The Bell.
This proves that, although each of those three things are awesome; together, it’s one big fustercluck. This sign is just a result of that awkwardness. Yes, it’s a sign specifying that the similar shirts are, in fact, different. Of course, this lead to the infamous Vanilla Ice “It’s Not The Same!” speech.
Seriously, why would you spend $35 on a shirt that you wouldnt have spent $5 for at Wal-Mart about 30 minutes earlier? What makes the American Apparel stuff THAT much better? All I know, I’m glad to not be falling into this scene. Well, not completely.
